The community of Port George will be holding a bake-sale of donated cakes, pies, and other baked goods. All the proceeds will be going to the Port George Storm and Warming Centre, which will provide shelter, power, and water in the event of storms.
The doors will be open for the bake sale at 10:30am. Coffee and tea will be available by donation.
You can also enter the competition for "Port George’s Best Baker". We will be having a judged bake-off of any entered family-favourites at 9:30am. If you wish to participate drop your entry off at 9:00am and indicate you want to enter the competition.
Come along, see beautiful Port George! Low tide is at 11:00 am which is perfect for seeing the seals at Cottage Cove Provincial Park just up the road.
