The Festival of Dance 2022 Studio Showing features artists Sarah Murphy and Olivier Coëffard presenting a work in progress. Sarah and Olivier were awarded the FODAR 2022 Creative Residency which fully supports two weeks of uninterrupted creative time to start work on a new piece. The residency offers accommodation, studio time and a fee.The July 22 showing is the culmination of this two week period. There will be a short Q&A session with the artists following the showing.

The FODAR Creative Residency was initiated to foster experimentation and the development of new dance works. It is made possible through funds from the Culture Innovation Fund offered through the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage.
