Landmark East School will be holding our 20th Annual Walkathon. Money raised from this event will go directly to the Landmark East Foundation, which provides over half of our students with bursaries.
• Registration starts at 12PM
• 12:55PM group photo followed by a five kilometer walk along the King’s County Rail Trail.
• The walk is followed by games, snacks and drinks (which are available for purchase) upon returning to the school
Learning differences affect approximately ten percent of the population. This means that nearly 3.3 million Canadians struggle with literacy or numeracy. A recent study in Nova Scotia estimates that between 2,000 and 5,000 children in our public school system are currently struggling with severe learning challenges. By supporting our Walkathon you are investing in many deserving students who would not otherwise have the means to attend our school.
