Fundraiser Evening for Chet Kirkby. For those of you who know The Spitfire Arms, Chet is the Publican's younger brother. On February 16th Chet suffered a mild stroke, he is only 36 years young. This has been a challenging time for him and our family as Chet is a self-employed carpenter. At the time of this writing, he is still awaiting heart surgery which will take place at the QE2. Very special thanks to the amazing people at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville who have taken great care of my brother. There will be a silent and live auction, live music, great food and even greater friends to help us during this time of need. Thank you to all & we hope some of you can join us on this very special day.
