“Aurora Scott dazzles crowds with her sultry vocals, natural elegance, and sophisticated sense of style.”
Originally from Annapolis Royal, NS, this well-travelled singer, songwriter, bandleader, and world class entertainer has performed at jazz festivals and notable hotels across Canada, Australia and in Hong Kong. She was the first female vocalist to lead the Queens Room Orchestra on board Cunard’s luxury Queen Victoria, and has played with jazz giants, Bill Stevenson, Phil Dwyer, Al Kay, and Jodi Proznick. Aurora currently collaborates with celebrated Halifax producer and “all things strings” player, Jamie Robinson, creating original music intended for her concerts and bigger musical productions.
Peter Davison is a multi-instrumentalist from Truro, Nova Scotia. A graduate of the St. F.X. music program, Davison applied such jazz influences while in the 90’s jam band “hu noo” and as a cruise ship musician in the early 2000’s. Career highlights include winning the 2010 Canadian Loop Station Championship as The Duke of Loops and opening for Bob Seger with The Christine Campbell Band in 2014. Davison currently plays in nearly a dozen bands across Nova Scotia and has recently joined forces with world class jazz vocalist, entertainer and songwriter, Miss Aurora Scott.
