Please join us for a series of ten workshops on Mondays beginning on March 14th, 2011. Making Art Mondays are a series of workshops presented by the Alliance of Kings Artists with support from the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism and Culture and the Acadia University Art Gallery. Each session is focused on a specific project and is facilitated by an artist. The workshops are for adults and are structured as completely hands-on and interactive. Collaboration and idea exchange are encouraged.
About this Workshop: Collage: Working with Words and Texture
Participants will work on their own collage using paint, media clippings and incorporating text into their work.
Facilitator: Ron Hayes is a local artist and owner of Art Can Gallery in Canning.
He works in a wide range of materials and has exhibited regularly for 35 years. Ron has recently been to England to paint watercolours of London and Brighton.
Registration: Sessions are drop-in. Payment to be submitted at door.
Workshops are limited to 15 participants (unless noted).
Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before!
