Salsa is a fun and energetic partner dance that originates from Cuba. The traditional Salsa which is known as Cuban or New York Salsa, is danced “on two”. We will be teaching you the Los Angeles style of Salsa, which is danced on the first beat of the music – to keep it simple! It can be quite fast paced when danced to traditional Salsa songs but can also be danced socially to almost any music in 4/4 time, making it a practical option for everyone to enjoy.
Partners are recommended, but not required.
