This is a Pre-Candidates Forum Rally For Democracy. The basic theme is Democracy and what it means to us. This is a sidewalk rally and participants will advocate in their own way for democracy in Canada.
All lovers of democracy are invited to join in with us, regardless of political, spiritual, philosophical or religious affiliations.
This nonpartisan* group is an offshoot of the Citizens Assembly for Democracy, a Wolfville group that formed after the last prorogation of Parliament. We encourage people to Get Out & VOTE on May 2nd.
*nonpartisan = NOT advocating for any one party. In this case, the 'cause' is for democracy in Canada and is NOT for anything, any party, or anybody that undermines this.
