The Tides Art Gallery, Kentville, Nova Scotia with a new exhibit called The Great Haul. This is an innovative exhibit of 18 paintings. A reception will be held to officially open the show provide a chance to meet the artist and enjoy light refreshments. The paintings in the show feature harvest time and the beauty of the fields along the Bay of Fundy. The back- drop of these paintings is the Landscape of Grand Pre World Heritage Site, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There is so much talk about the environment that we often overlook the important work of farmers providing food for the world. Working with the soil, planting and harvesting results in a great haul. Often the harvest is carried off to be stored for use over the cold winter months of the Canadian winter.
We are now located at 401D Main Street in Kentville. Follow the lights down Artists' Alley between Brad's Decor and the Half Acre Cafe. Opens at 5:00!
