Explore Robertson’s Farm & Apothecary to learn about small-scale farming, harvest seasonal herbs for your creations, and meet the Highland cattle who nourish the soil and call the farm home!
Experience Includes:
Tour Robertson’s Farm & Apothecary with your passionate guide Rachael, meet the Highland cattle who help work the land and nourish the soil, and hear about the Robertson family’s journey to Nova Scotia.
Choose and harvest herbs to craft traditional folk remedy tonics and oils with all equipment and necessary packaging provided.
Learn about land energies, small-scale farming, and the bountiful gifts from your summer garden you can use year-round during this three-hour, hands-on workshop.
Create and take home your very own bottle of winter tonic for the soul and bottle of botanical skin oil.
This experience is approximately three hours in length and is offered rain or shine.
Rubber boots or similar outdoor footwear are required to tour the farm. Dress for the weather and consider wearing layers as we will be outside for parts of the experience.
Feel free to bring a water bottle with you. Lots of tea and refreshments will be provided throughout this experience.
A washroom is available on site, but is only accessible by a staircase.
All ingredients and packaging for this experience are provided.
