“Sharks: a Lecture You Can Sink Your Teeth Into”

What lurks beneath? The answer might surprise you… a mysterious and often misunderstood apex predator swims in the waters just off our shores, “The Great White.” Less known but equally fascinating is the ancient Greenland Shark which swims in the frigid arctic waters of Canada. The Greenland Shark can live to be 450 years old thus making it the oldest living vertebrate in the ocean. Learn more about these amazing animals in an upcoming public lecture being given by Nigel E. Hussey, a global expert on the application of biotelemetry technologies to aquatic species.
