A book launch of local author Paul Rapsey’s third mystery novel, “The Listing Lighthouse”. Paul will read selections from the book at about 3:15 and again at about 4:15 p.m. Stay for a glass of wine.
As with Paul’s first two novels, “Murder on the Pony Express Way” and “Murder, Buy Cheeses”, the story is set in a small Nova Scotia town and its environs, which are nestled along the shore of a tidal river. If you have read either of his first two novels, you may recognize a few of the characters. You will also meet some interesting new ones.
This is a tale of love and deceit, friendship and folly; and political ambition and intrigue. Although the story addresses some serious issues, it is written in a whimsical manner. Yet, it contains all the essential elements of an engaging murder mystery.
