The Annual Woodville Chicken Barbeque is held on Apple Blossom Sunday each year hosted at Boates Farm. The over 2000 Half Chickens are barbequed over an open pit with our special BBQ Sauce and then served with Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Pickles, Roll, Honey and a glass of Boates Apple Cider. Picnic tables are spread through out the orchard and if the timing is right the Apple Blossoms are beautiful.
Each year baked goods are for sale and Boates Apple Cider is available for purchase as well.
The Barbeque is truly a Community event that takes a Community effort and is the major fundraising event that supports all the Community activities and keeps the Community Centre active.
All proceeds go directly into the Community to help maintain the Community Centre and provide programs to residents of Woodville and surrounding area.
