The Valley Recreation Coordinators/Directors Association (VRCDA), in partnership with the Department of Health and Wellness, Acadia University, Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation (NSSAF), Investors Group, Coaching Association of Canada and in cooperation with Nova Scotia Provincial Sport Organizations is please to be hosting the 2011 Community Coaching Conference at Acadia University from June 10-12th.
The community coaching conference will provide professional development and networking opportunities for high school, community and provincial coaches of all levels, whether new or highly trained. The conference features four streams for coaches to choose from:
1. Sport Specific NCCP Training
2. NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills and Competition Development
3. General Break-Out Sessions
4. School Coach Professional Development Day
All coaches to attend this conference will have access to the Lunch and Keynote Presentation by Bruce Beaton, the Reception and Awards, the Coaches Panel Q& A Session as well as the Coaches Social.
Register by the Early Bird Deadline on May 27th and be entered to win green fees for the Berwick Heights Golf Course. Registrations will be accepted until June 2nd.
