The 51st Annual Nova Scotia Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Festival is presented by the Downeast Bluegrass & Oldtime Music Society, a registered non-profit organization in Nova Scotia. This is Canada's longest running bluegrass festival, which celebrated it's 50th milestone in 2023!
With over 20 hours of stage performances running Friday through Sunday, the festival itself opens on Monday, July 22nd as many fans and musicians arrive early to enjoy a few extra days of camping, friendship, and jamming.
Headlining multi-award winning Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out (Georgia) and The Ruta Beggars (Massachusetts), the festival also features top Maritime talent including Riverbank (NB), The Hound Dog Ramblers (NB), Third Harmony (NB), The Janet McGarry Band (PE), Bluegrass Tradition (NS), Matt Lunn & Echo Mountain (NS), and the Mark Cameron Band (NS).
In addition to live performances, several activities, including children's activities and musical workshops are scheduled throughout the weekend. Come join us for a wonderful weekend!
