About the Book:
A sequel to A Rebel for Her Time (Mossman's first novel), Maud sets out to break the bonds of expectations and to make a satisfactory life for herself in Nova Scotia in the 1920s and 30s. She struggles through miserable jobs, juggles multiple suitors, and learns as she goes on a path that takes her from tiny villages to Montreal and Halifax. Good friends and untrustworthy acquaintances cross her path, but she makes it her path.
