"Living with an Elecric Car", a presentation by Henry Hoeksma.
Electric car ownership has many unexpected and sometimes subtle differences from gasoline cars. These differences are in the features and performance of the car itself, owner behaviour changes based on car features, how and when the car is recharged including the evolving public charging infrastructure, maintenance requirements, and a very different and also evolving cost structure.
This talk will discuss the many advantages of electric cars, how ownership will change your behaviours, how you will recharge, new terminology, and costs. It will also briefly discuss the many EV myths that are propagating on the Internet including the seeds of truth that started the myths.
