An amazing triple-bill of great songwriters and instrumentalists!

Surrounded by a captivating ensemble of musical instruments, including the bouzouki, tenor guitar, hurdy-gurdy, accordions, and a foot keyboard synthesizer, Benj Rowland creates a mesmerizing sonic experience that beckons audiences to immerse themselves in his world of music.

As a self-described “community-trained” musician, Benj Rowland approaches folk music with a deep-rooted reverence for tradition, having honed his instrumental and performance skills within the vibrant tapestry of his culturally rich upbringing. Hailing from this musical heritage, Benj’s compositions reflect an amalgamation of various influences, such as Celtic, Cajun, Old-time, and Balfolk. After an extensive journey spanning over 15 years, during which he was a member of various musical ensembles, Benj embarked on a solo career following the release of his 2022 album, “Community Garden,” produced by Joel Plaskett.

Montreal-based Michael Feuerstack is a Canadian indie rock musician, who has been associated with the bands Wooden Stars and Snailhouse. Snailhouse was essentially a solo project with multiple contributing artists, including Julie Doiron of Eric's Trip, with production work by Jeremy Gara of The Arcade Fire. Feuerstack has built an ever growing archive of crooked and beautiful songs.

Justin Karas is a multi-intrumentalist (including harp), composer and artist from Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. He is known for composing the melodious soundtrack to the game "A Little to the Left", a cozy & warm puzzle game that asks players to arrange everyday household objects to be just a little more pleasing to the eye. Playful, bright, and sometimes even mischievous, the music of A Little to the Left instantly transports you to a place of calm and empowered focus.
