Champagne Weather, the new band formed by James Hill and Anne Janelle, blends folk and roots music with modern minimalism, creating transformative musical experiences. Their music features a mix of songwriting, sound sculpture, improvisation, and hypnotic repetition, drawing influences from artists like Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Their first project, the "ADSR" EP series, represents the life cycle of a sound: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release. This concert features songs from their upcoming release "D."

Champagne Weather’s mission is to create evocative, healing, and complex music that offers an acoustic refuge and emotional exploration. They aim to reflect the natural world through music, moving from traditional chord progressions to cyclical, chance-based counterpoint. Their values emphasize the importance of listening, empathy, and embracing improvisation.
