The community of Scott’s Bay invites everyone to come out and take part in this year’s celebrations. The day begins with a parade at 11am, flag raising and singing of “Oh Canada” at noon; then hay rides, children’s games, canteen, musical entertainment and church auction in the afternoon. Charity barbecue chicken supper 4:30 to 6 p.m.; half barbecue chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll and dessert. Variety show to follow at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks and Canada Day cake at dusk.
