Street parade beginning at St. George Street at 10:00 a.m. and afternoon events at Fort Anne. Annapolis Royal is the site of the landing of the first Scottish settlers in Nova Scotia in 1629 under a charter to Sir William Alexander. The only known copy of the charter to settle Nova Scotia is on display at Fort Anne. The Lt. Gov.
