Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is so excited to offer our Winter Arts Workshop series this season.

Join us for a day of Learn the art and science of sound engineering with a top professional in the field and in the real world environment of the Ross Creek Annex.

Graham Colwell, who works in both live music sound mixing and for TV and film will teach students about how to manipulate sound and why sound systems work the way they do, while also touching on specific sound equipment.

You'll get hands-on practice connecting PA systems, setting up a stage for a performance and understanding the principles of sound boards.

This is a great chance for musicians, music fans, engineers, technical artists, and creative types of all kinds to learn a valuable, interesting, and employable skill — how to make live music and amplified audio sound its best in performance settings.

Teens and adults welcome. No experience necessary.

Lunch is included. Bring an instrument if desired and a recording of a piece of music that you know really well.
