Julie Malia (also known as Jule Malischke), hails originally from southern Germany, and now lives in Dresden. In addition to her 15-year career as a touring guitarist and singer in Europe, she works as a lecturer at the Carl Weber Music University in Dresden. Her most recent album is called SEAGULL, and features both her impeccable guitar work and her beautiful voice.
Don and Julie have been performing regularly together since the fall of 2023, having performed almost 50 concerts together in 2024 alone all over Europe, Canada, and the United States. They are currently recording a project together. This will be their first time performing together in the Annapolis Valley, and Don's first time at the Al Whittle Theatre in many years.
