Kings Historical Fencing Club, a NS registered nonprofit society, is holding a free try it class of HEMA Historical Fencing training to youth 11 -17 and adults 18+. Fencing masks and training swords are provided as you learn the historical techniques that formed the basics of modern Olympic Epee, Sabre and Foil. Our youth and adult programs offer a safe structured and inclusive environment promoting skill development, self control, sportsmanship and fair play. One of 5 HEMA style fencing clubs in the Atlantic Provinces, youth and adults have the opportunity to enter local or Atlantic tournaments or just train for the fun and exercise.
