This is an invitation to a party at the Annex. Put it in your calendars, because we'd love to share a night with you to celebrate our team, and to say goodbye to Rebecca Dunk. Music In Communities has really grown in the last couple of years - we have had 24 musicians offering programs and doing other great work in the community, not including performances! So let's have a party! With cake and music and dancing!
Rebecca Dunk has been leading the Queer Choir, jam sessions and hosting a lot of our shows this year, all while finishing up her Music Therapy studies at Acadia. Now she's getting ready to head off to Ottawa for her internship, and we are going to miss her, big-time. This party is a fund-raiser to help her get set up in her new life. Rebecca's going to play a set with friends, then we'll have an open mic if anyone feels like playing, and then we'll crank the tunes and dance. Music In Communities will provide snacks (and cake!). Ross Creek will be running the bar if you want to buy a drink.
