Three Tall Women is a two-act play by Edward Albee, playwright of Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe. Winner of The Drama Desk and Pulitzer Prize, Three Tall Women tells the story of three unnamed women, one in her 90s, one in her 50s and one in her 20s, who are referred to in the script as A, B, and C. The character of A, the oldest woman, is based in part on Albee's mother. In the first Act, B is the caregiver and B is the lawyer for A, while in the second act they become personifications of A in earlier life. This stirring drama will be the first work of Edward Albee to ever be performed at CentreStage
Theater. Mature content.
