Freda Nauss and Carmen Dalrymple are the featured artists for the month of August, at Captain Hall’s Treasure Chest, in Hall’s Harbour. Freda is a well known painter and has exhibited and sold her work at Paints and Pots Creative Artists, for the last six years. She is a talented seascape and landscape artist who also paints vivid images of wildlife and imaginative abstracts.
Carmen Dalrymple is a potter who creates limited editions of pottery, as well as people and animal sculptures. Carmen’s Critters are a collection of miniature animals fired in wood fired, Raku and oxidation kilns. There is a lot of imagination and variety in Carmen’s clay objects.
Both artists are local and have been at Captain Hall’s Treasure Chest for the past six years.
