A family-friendly comedy by CentreStage favourite Edith Weiss.
Four friends, Natasha, Nanny, Ambrose and Beatrice, live in a house in a gated community. They have some secrets: the first, they are vegetarian vampires who are hiding from the Vamp Gang, a hungry group of blood-eating Vampires. Secondly, they are hiding and giving shelter to some wandering Zombies. Natasha, to protect the Zombies from anyone they might meet outside, is determined to humanize them so they can live in society like she and her friends do. Teaching the Zombies etiquette--which includes things like teaching them not eat the maids Phoebe and Millicent's brains, elocution exercises from Shakespeare, and kindness from Mr. Roger's neighbourhood tapes--turns out to save the day for the recovering Vampires and the childlike Zombies. No biting, no blood, great message!
