Soren Bondrup-Nielsen is a professor emeritus who taught biology at Acadia University for 27 years. He is an author of 7 books including his most recent one, The Wabanaki Forest, which he co-wrote with Riley Scanlan and has contributions of ten other authors. He was the President of the BNS for seven years.
Riley Scanlan holds a Master's in Environmental Studies and a Bachelor's with Honours in Environmental Science. They have worked in various forest conservation roles, including assisting in the management of teh invasive Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, and is co-author of The Wabanaki Forest.
