Held annually in the Annapolis Valley, The Deep Roots Music Festival brings together some of the finest folk and roots singers, songwriters and musicians in the world for a weekend of concerts, workshops, and celebration.
The Festival offers three days packed with music-related activities that are engaging and fun. Events include indoor and outdoor concerts; participatory workshops; late night jam sessions; dance parties; a traditional Smudging Ceremony; a lecture series; a sing-along; and a community parade, accompanied by giant whimsical puppets, that weaves through Wolfville’s downtown core.
Saturday's lineup can be seen in various locations around Wolfville including Festival Theatre, Al Whittle Theatre, Convocation hall, Clock Park and many other locations. See the Deep Roots Music Festival website for a schedule of events.
