he Designer Cafe in Kentville will host a charity fund-raising art auction for S.O.A.R. from August 6th to September 1st. Survivors of Abuse Recovering (S.O.A.R.) is a local charitable organization that provides free individual and group peer counselling services to male and female adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
The opening reception will be held August 6th from 2 to 4 pm. The Designer Cafe has graciously offered to donate 10% of their net sales of food and beverages on that day to S.O.A.R.
For the duration of the show, art donated by several area artists will be on display in the Cafe and open to bidding by silent auction method. A Buy Now option will be set at a predetermined price for those who wish to take their artwork purchase immediately.
