Claire Maxwell (she/her) is from Cape Breton, NS. She loves hiking, camping, swimming, soccer, yoga, and the outdoors, all things she enjoyed living in Cape Breton. She has experience working as a Beach Lifeguard on a small island, as a field team lead conducting species-at-risk research in streams and forests, and leading the Environmental Society at Cape Breton University. Most recently, Claire enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors at ACAP Cape Breton. She is looking forward to meeting new people and getting outdoors this Fall in the Valley area!
