The Acadia School of Music’s Concert & Lecture Series presents a recital by pianist Cindy Thong and cellist Edward Cho, featuring Beethoven’s 4th Cello Sonata, Debussy’s Cello Sonata and Barber’s Cello Sonata.
Provoking thoughtful exploration of the interplay between tradition and innovation across centuries. Cindy and Edward will perform a program offering a clear look at three distinct musical voices – from Beethoven’s introspective depth and structural elegance, through Debussy’s impressionistic textures, to Barber’s modern lyricism.
