Join us to make a Solstice lantern. Using recycled mason jars, we will create and decorate lanterns to brighten the winter nights*. All materials are supplied and all ages are welcome. Please register by December 11.

Workshop facilitators:
Monique Silver, a local artist, has facilitated numerous creative arts workshops with children and adults. She is currently completing training in art therapy.
Mary Norton is an adult educator and art therapist in private and community-based practice. Together, Monique and Mary will be launching a community Art Hive in the new year.
* Connected to this event, there will be a Winter Solstice Walk on Sunday, December 21 at 7:00 pm in Wolfville Reservoir Park. We will walk around the ponds with our lanterns and sing some songs to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
