Join Blomendon Naturalists Soren Bondrup-Nielsen for a snowshoe field trip exploring and experiencing the wonders of the snow-covered forest floor. Animals will have left their clues. We will see their tracks and other evidence that allow us a glimpse of their daily routines and survival strategies.
This field trip is a gentle snowshoe walk. You will explore a few kms of the Watershed with under Soren’s guidance. There will be lots of stop to look at things – please make sure you dress warmly for the weather.
*If there is no snow on January 25th, the field trip will be rescheduled for Sunday, February 1st.
Soren Bondrup-Nielsen is the Past President of the BNS and is a professor emeritus who taught biology at Acadia University for 27 years.
