Join us on Saturday, February 14th 12:30-3:30 pm for a special Makers Space. This week, we will be upcycling picture frames. All ages are welcome! This mentorship program is sponsored by CYPCC and is FREE to attend.
The purpose of this project is to encourage people to give new life to items they are no longer using rather than disposing of these items. This program also highlights that you don't need to buy expensive items at stores in order to own nice things in your home.
Our current Mentee is a student at West Kings High School. We are very pleased to explore thrifting, up-cycling and other environmental issues with her. More community projects will be shared in the coming weeks.
