The Kings County Family Resource Centre invites families to celebrate Family Literacy Day with a fun, interactive morning designed for all ages.
This free community event will feature Liz Fraser of Knee High to a Grasshopper Storytelling, sharing engaging stories with children, along with live music from Matt the Music Man (Matt McFarlane), a multi-award-winning children’s entertainer. Families can enjoy songs, laughter, and hands-on activities that promote learning through play.
United for Literacy will also be on site with free books for children to take home. Come celebrate literacy, connection, and making everyday moments—like mealtime—family learning time.
