Greenhouse 101 Workshop
Put on by Kings County in collaboration with NSCC.
Looking to learn about greenhouse systems and plant care? Whether you're starting with a small backyard setup or curious about commercial operations, this workshop is for you!
What to Expect:
• Guided Tour of the NSCC Greenhouse Labs, led by NSCC Faculty
• Learn about plant propagation, nutrient and water needs, and how the growing cycle works. You will be introduced to structures and systems from simple backyard greenhouse structures to large-scale commercial production facilities and their systems.
• You'll also create your own seedling starters that you can take home for future propagation!
