Campbell & Johnston are vintage Blues-Rock and Roots music with a modern twist, fronted by two powerhouse guitarists/vocalists. They’ve been making waves, opening up for some big names, like Burton Cummings, Steve Earle & Bob Seger. Their latest album “Paisley Hearts” earned them 2 awards in 2025, An ECMA for “Best Blues Release”, and “Best Blues Recording” at Nova Scotia Music Week.
Their album reached #3 in Canadian Roots Radio, their songs were added to two Joe Bonamassa’s playlists and you may also have heard their music in various popular Canadian shows such as “Hudson & Rex” & “Sullivan’s Crossing”.
Since their release in 2024, Campbell & Johnston been touring steadily, including some big stages like that of Ottawa Bluesfest, Sommo, Stanfest, the NS Stampede opening for Tom Cochrane and The Montreal Jazz and Blues opening for Amanda Marshall, and are set to tour the U.K. this summer. Stay tuned as they are gearing up for a new release in 2027!
