Let's get outdoors together! Whether you're a classic skier, skate skier, or new to the sport entirely, we've got you covered.
Cross Country Nova Scotia, Valley Pride, and the Town of Kentville welcome 2SLGBTQIA+ community members and family to join us in a morning of cross-country skiing and fun at the Kentville Rec Hub. Drop in on Sunday, February 22nd between 11am and 12:30pm. We will provide classic ski gear and basic instruction for free!
Accessibility Notes:
-Bathrooms are inclusive and have ramp access.
-If you have any accessibility needs, please reach out to [email protected]. We have a few kick sleds and sit skis that can be great alternatives for those with mobility issues, or anyone who wants to try an alternative to traditional skis.
Bonus: Many of our CCNS team are 2SLGBTQIA+ members and are so excited to get to ski with you!
Although this is a free event, we kindly ask that you register to ensure that we have enough equipment for everyone!
