The African Youth Talent Show is an annual celebration that showcases the incredible gifts and talents of African Nova Scotian youth from elementary through high school. This event provides a positive, empowering stage where students can express themselves through music, dance, spoken word, drama, and cultural performances.
The show is designed to build confidence, celebrate identity, and strengthen community connections while highlighting the richness of African heritage. A special highlight of the evening is a live performance by local band Shoulder to Shoulder, whose uplifting music brings generations together and inspires our young performers.
