This is a bi-weekly walking series for women and girls+ 9 years and older to discover the wonder, joy, and connection of the outdoors.
This week, we will meet at the parking lot in the Wolfville Watershed Nature Preserve at the end of Forest Hill Rd. The Watershed is a beautiful place to walk; it has old growth Hemlock trees, a rushing creek and waterfall, a lake, and several ponds. There will be two hiking options: one group will hike the Ravine Trail, which is a somewhat challenging climb and descend that requires crossing two creeks, while another group will take a trail that leads along the lake, into the forest, and past a pond. This second option is a gentle walk that takes about an hour.
