Don’t miss the 49TH annual Sheffield Mills Harvest Fair to be held this year on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th behind the community hall at 98 Black Hole Rd. beginning at 11:00 AM. Returning to the fair are the children’s parade, wagon and horse rides, archery shoot, children’s games and Moby the recycling robot. Come early to the country store and bake table to fill your cellar and pantry for the winter and stay for a fun filled day. A canteen will be available to keep your bellies full until suppertime when a delicious chicken BBQ supper cooked by members of the Canning Fire Dept will be served. There will be live musical entertainment throughout the day and a performance by the Kings Community Concert Band at 2:00 PM. Watch and laugh as familiar faces of the municipality compete for bragging rights in the goat milking competition beginning at 2:30 PM. A goods and services auction begins at 3:00pm and a firefighter’s bucket brigade competition with members of the CVFD will take place at 4:00 PM.
