Join us for a brand new season of Sofa Sundays! We are kicking things off with Malia Rogers and The Sungolds.
As a Nova Scotian making home in Ontario, singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Malia Rogers enters rooms of strangers and leaves them feeling deeply connected & changed. Her introspective folk anthems and intimate lullabies carefully balance melancholy and hope, touching audiences with precise lyricism, warmed-honey vocals, and thoughtful, spacious instrumentation. Alongside her solo project, Malia is also a sought-after session vocalist and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, mandolin, percussion). She regularly tours and records for Jessica Pearson & The East Wind and has also recently toured for Ian Sherwood and Daniel James McFadyen.
The Sungolds (duo) are old pals Jeff DeCoste and Geoff Tobin, who write and sing folk and country songs. They call Dartmouth home, where they're surrounded by great artists, venues, and folks who love local music.
Music starts at 3pm. Tickets are pay-what-you-can. Enjoy a refreshment in the Café beforehand.
