Join us for a guided walk (about 1.5 km) through the Hutchinson Acres' sugar bush, followed by a hearty pancake brunch with - you guessed it - Hutchinson Acres' maple syrup at the East Dalhousie Recreation Centre. Chris and Anna Hutchinson will walk us through their maple sap harvesting process and we will see first hand what a healthy sugar bush looks like!
We will start at Anna's Maple Cafe and carpool up to the sugar bush. Our first group leaves at 9 am, followed by subsequent groups with 30 minute intervals. After the sugar bush walk, each group will head up to the East Dalhousie Recreation Centre for a pancake brunch (GF and vegan options are available upon request). There will also be information on the proposed Chain Lakes Wilderness Area at the Hall.
