This session provides information on the Job Loss Cycle and the impacts of job loss, including the stages and emotions that people typically experience during times of transition. Participants will gain insight into how these experiences can affect emotional well-being and decision-making, and why it’s important to recognize where you are in the process.
You’ll learn:
• How job loss can impact emotional well-being
• The stages of the Job Loss Cycle, including denial, anger, frustration, and adaptation
• How to recognize what stage you may be in
• Practical coping strategies to support both personal and professional transition
• How to begin developing a plan to move forward
