Join us on a series of 7 Mondays to experiment with various art media. All supplies are included!
Our youth art lessons for May and June invite young artists to explore their creativity while working toward an exciting group showcase that will happen in June. Throughout these two months, participants will continue to build their artistic skills through engaging lessons, including charcoal drawing, zine making, and more. In addition to weekly projects, participants will begin developing original pieces specifically for the upcoming art show. As a group, participants will work together to choose a theme, brainstorm ideas, curate their artwork, and help transform the space by decorating and preparing displays. They will also learn how to present their work professionally by adding titles, descriptions, and tags for each art piece, similar to what we have currently for professional artists at 7Arts.
The Youth Art Show will be on a Friday in June (Date to be decided), where friends, family, and community members are invited to look at all the wonderful work the students have created. Participants will have the opportunity to display their artwork (and even offer it for sale). The next two months will be a collective group effort, with everyone participating in a "role" they feel comfortable with, creating original works based off of things we have learned, and let their creativity be centre stage!

Pricing & Tickets
Pricing: Only $140 for all seven May and June classes (May 4, 11, & 25, June 1, 8, 15, & 22). Please note: There will be NO class on May 18th or June 29th.
