The Admiral Digby Museum is excited to host returning guest speaker, author, Steve Skafte.

He will speak on his new book: "Outskirts of Ordinary - Stories of Survival from Annapolis Valley"

Come and hear Steve Skafte tell tales from his latest book, the harrowing and heartfelt Outskirts of Ordinary. It's a collection of stories from locals who overcame the odds to become themselves, evenly mixed with memories from his childhood.

Steve Skafte is a writer and photographer from Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, where he’s lived all his life. Since he turned twenty in 2007, he's kept and shared an uninterrupted daily journal online, with stories and adventures from all over the wilds of the province — and how it felt to be there. Much of his time is wrapped up in finding forgotten human history left behind in the woods.

Refreshments will be provided, and the author will have copies available for sale & signing.

Many thanks to our sponsor, Digby's own, Bayside Inn Bed and Breakfast.
