Peter Knight is grinding out a murder story in an old mansion where another author was murdered years before. A weird electrical storm effects a cosmic snafu and his characters come to life! There's the lovely ingenue, the trusty butler, a feisty character woman, a dauntless hero, a fascinating "other woman," the always pregnant serving girl, and the wily lawyer waiting for midnight to read the will. Such is the plot for CentreStage’s next production, Out of Sight…Out of Murder, a murder mystery comedy by Fred Charmichael.
Witty and funny, this thriller is as much entertaining as it is a good-old-fashioned mystery! The show is most appropriate for children aged 12 and up.
Out of Sight… Out of Murder is directed by Jean Kelly and stars Gary Corbin, Allyson Higgins, Sherrie Howatt, Michael Kenny, Jennifer Weisner, Beth Irvine, Jessica Bennett, Ryan Trimper, and Geoff Ball. Lights are done by Mark Crouse and Eric Higgins and Darrell Doucette are the stage managers.
Out of Sight…Out of Murder opens on Thursday, September 15 (free-will offering night) and continues playing at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays until October 22. There will be a 2pm matinee on Sunday, October 2.
