The Northville Farm Heritage Centre is excited to introduce History in Motion. This unique gathering will bring together multiple heritage organizations from across the region to showcase the machines, vehicles, and traditions that shaped rural life in Atlantic Canada.
Visitors will experience history in action through traditional Planting Day demonstrations, where fields are ploughed and planted using horses, oxen, and antique tractors. The day will also feature pre-war car games and rides, as well as steam and small engine demonstrations, alongside displays of vintage motorcycles, railway exhibits, and antique engines and tractors.
History in Motion offers a hands-on, immersive opportunity for families and community members to see, hear, and experience the past the way it was meant to be — in motion.
